Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Audit Clerk to join their professional services team. The successful candidate will assist in leading audit engagements, reviewing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting junior team members while delivering high-quality client service. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. 
• Prepare and review audit working papers and supporting documentation. 
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement. 
• Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures. 
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports. 
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards. 
• Liaise professionally with clients to obtain required financial information. 
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff during engagements. 
• Assist with tax compliance and other assurance-related assignments as required. 
• Complete assignments within established deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
